MILE HIGH WOMEN’S OUTREACH CENTER IS ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR HEALING!
WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND BEGIN TO CHANGE THIS HORRIBLE FOR PROFIT SEX INDUSTRY WITH YOUNG GIRLS!

Mile High Women’s Outreach Center provides an array of innovative and evidence-based outpatient mental health services throughout Denver Metro area (including in-home services). All of MHWOC behavioral health center and trauma services develop intervention methods to meet the needs of children, adults, and families dealing with a range of behavioral health conditions. Therapeutic services are individually tailored to meet the goals of each and every client.

Mile High Women’s Outreach Centers Clinical therapists have been providing in-home and community-based services to children and families with serious emotional disturbance, developmental disabilities, and behavioral issues for a number of years. Our services include intensive care coordination, in-home and outpatient therapies, mentoring services, in-home behavioral support, parent/ caregiver support and education, mentoring for commercially sexually exploited youth, as well as mental health evaluation and consultation services to juvenile courts.

MHWOC has opened doors to educational opportunity for under-served youth and adults in our community. We are piloting a 6-week program beginning in April 2014. From that we have partnered up with the Triskele Foundation to offer an 18-week GED program at our center at a zero cost to the participant. This program will positively be focused and tailored to every individual. The educators that volunteer to teach these programs are teachers and foster healthy interactive conversations and help develop the student meeting the needs of each individual student. Each individual will each be given the practice test, tools to successfully pass the GED test and will pay for the students GED test after successful completion of the 6-week or 18-week program.

Did you know there are an estimated 500,000 youth in the foster care system in the United States on any given day? MHWOC believes every young person in foster care deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment in their community. The Healing Home we will open in August 2014 will have our Clinical Therapists working specifically with the youth in the home. We also offer training to the foster home providers that will help them identify if one of their kids are victims of sex trafficking.
